Designers Shine with the Result of the 6th JAS Jewellery Design Competition

Tension was mounting each passing day. Everyone was anxious and waiting for the result of the 6^th All India JAS Jewellery Design Competition to be announced. At last, tensions relieved and cheers came when the result was declared on July 16.

After gaining phenomenal reputation internationally through its last six shows, four-day long Gems and Jewellery event enters in its 7^th edition with JAS-13.  Besides, exhibiting a wide range of gemstones and jewellery items, the show also embraces All India Jewellery Design Competition conducted by the ‘Jewellers Association Jaipur’ as a part of the event.

In this year’s  All India JAS Jewellery Design Competition of JAS-13, veteran jewelers of the country showed their skills and presented Rajasthan’s famous Jewellery style Kundan Meena including Polki Diamond with the fusion of fullcut depicting the competition theme ‘A mélange of wonders’. The competition held under the four categories- Bridal Wedding Jewellery, Formal Wear Jewellery, Earring Designs and Cocktail Jewellery.  Participants of the competition mesmerized the Jury with their design creativity, craftsmanship and artistic value. Undoubtedly, it was a hard time for esteemed panel of judges to choose the three best wining designs from each category. As there were lots of brilliantly designed jewellery pieces presented by participants, hence the jury narrowed down the choices by focusing on innovation.
